New Video Highlights County Behavioral Health
CalMHSA recently completed, in partnership with DHCS, a new video explaining the critical work being done every day by county behavioral health, with a focus on counties’ important place in the California safety net.
The video tells the story of who is served, and how; the commitment of the county workforce; the complex funding and delivery of public behavioral health in our state; and the renewed hope for recovery that would not otherwise be possible.
Designed as an evergreen tool, the video’s tone and style lend to its usefulness in many circumstances and for many different audiences. Please feel free to link to the video and share it with any of your staff, providers, stakeholders, and community members.
