Clinical Documentation Trainings Updated, CE Credits Available
County staff can now visit CalMHSA’s on-demand learning management system for 10 updated clinical documentation trainings (formerly CalAIM trainings) and two trainings for CPT/NCHCS coding.
The new trainings reflect the most current documentation requirements and expectations to support providers. Courses can be taken as standalone segments or bundled for continuing education (CE) credit.
Earning CE Credits
CE credits are now being offered for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, LEPs, PhDs/PsyDs, AOD counselors, and Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists for three different offerings:
- Documentation Training Series (10 courses, six CEs)
- Coding Course for SMHA Providers (one hour, one CE)
- Coding Course for DMC/DMC-ODS Providers (one hour, one CE)
