This complimentary, 90-minute webinar on May 22 – Meaningful Engagement: A Guide to the Community Planning Process – offered an overview of the community planning process and actionable resources to support your county in leading it, plus:

  • A shared understanding of what’s changing from MHSA to BHSA
  • An overview of the community planning process
  • Actionable resources and tools to lead the process in your county

Following that, we’re presenting a full-day, in-person workshop in Sacramento – Planning with Purpose: Practicing Meaningful Engagement in Your County. With hands-on time to explore tools, frameworks, and strategies for building an engagement approach and calendar tailored to your local context, this training will focus on:

  • Strategies for developing focused hunches and learning goals to guide your community planning process
  • Approaches for building deeper trust with community members
  • Guidance on selecting the right modes of engagement to gather meaningful input
  • Practical ways to show how community voices shape your Integrated Plan
  • Time and space with your team and other county leaders to learn from each other as you design your community planning process
